Artist Uniform 2000 (2000)

I disassembled 6 Korean uniforms into parts and presented this in a questionnaire. The uniforms included a policeman uniform, a doctor uniform, etc.; and the disassembled parts included sleeves, the silhouette of the pants, fabric type, color etc. Around 200 artists selected parts to represent the Artist Uniform 2000 by completing the survey. 70 uniforms were made from the final result and 70 people performed appropriate actions while wearing them at the opening at the Museum in Image show.

미술가의 제복 2000

이 작품은 6가지 한국의 제복들을 분해하여 부분으로 나누고, 이를 바탕으로 설문지를 만든 후 제작 되었다. 경찰복, 의사 진료복등의 제복들은 부분으로 해체되어 소매, 바지 모양, 옷감 종류, 색상에 따라 분류된 후 사용되었으며, 설문 조사를 통해 약 200명의 작가들이 이 중 <미술가의 제복 2000>에 적합한 부분들을 선택했다. 그 결과 70개의 제복이 탄생했으며, 이 제복을 착용한 70명의 사람들은 미술관의 오프닝에 참석해 그 제복에 가장 적합하다고 생각되는 행동들을 보여주었다.
